CONFERENCE PROGRAM

The full ICIL 2025 program is published. For session times, see the program. The conference opens on Thursday, 30 October with registration and a welcome reception in the evening.

• Registration will be available on 30 October (Thursday) and the morning of 31 October (Friday)
• An optional social excursion is scheduled for 2 November (Sunday)

SOCIAL EXCURSION

Hakone & Mt. Fuji Scenic Bus Tour | Sunday, 2 November 2025 (08:00–18:00). Full-day scenic bus tour with potential views of Mt. Fuji (weather permitting). This is a sightseeing trip; no hiking or climbing. Light walking only. Depending on weather or group size, the itinerary may be adjusted. The destinations noted below offer views of Mt. Fuji when conditions allow. This activity is optional and is not included in the registration fee. The excursion fee includes lunch.

Tentative itinerary: 08:00 Depart Tokyo Station • 10:00–10:45 Oishi Park • 11:00–13:00 Oshino Hakkai (lunch) • 14:00–14:45 Hakone Shrine • 15:00–16:00 Owakudani • 18:00 Return.

This schedule is provisional and subject to change for traffic or safety. Stops may be substituted if conditions require. Owakudani access may be restricted by volcanic gas levels.

PUBLICATION

Selected high-quality papers from ICIL 2025 are included in the conference proceedings volume Proceedings of the International Conference on Industrial Logistics (ICIL) 2025: Selected Papers from the 16th Biennial Conference of the International Centre for Innovation and Industrial Logistics, Tokyo, Japan, 30 October – 2 November 2025, published by Springer as part of the Lecture Notes in Operations Research series. INDEXING INFORMATION

The Lecture Notes in Operations Research series is indexed in Scopus, Research Papers in Economics (RePEc), and zbMATH. The LNOR volume containing selected papers from ICIL 2025 will also be submitted to Clarivate (Web of Science) for evaluation. Indexing in Web of Science is not guaranteed and is subject to Clarivate’s independent review process.

PAPER INSTRUCTIONS & TEMPLATE

To maintain consistency across the ICIL 2025 proceedings, full paper submissions followed the guidelines below. Paper titles were required to clearly reflect their content and not exceed 15 words, abstracts were limited to 250 words, and full manuscripts, including all tables, figures, and references, were limited to eight pages. Submissions had to be formatted using either the Springer Nature Word template or the official LaTeX template. These templates remain available below for reference.

Please note that Lecture Notes in Operations Research follows Reference Style APA and Citation Style Numbered. Submitted papers had to be original and free from plagiarism; all submissions were checked for originality. Authors were asked to familiarize themselves with the Springer Nature Guide to Copyright and Permissions, which contains advice on including third-party content or material created by the authors and published elsewhere. RESUBMISSION & CAMERA-READY

The resubmission and camera-ready phase for ICIL 2025 has concluded. The guidance below is retained for archival reference.

During the ICIL 2025 camera-ready phase, authors were asked to ensure that their final manuscripts addressed all remarks from the reviewers. Camera-ready files were uploaded in EasyChair only; email submissions were not accepted. Authors uploaded exactly two files: (1) a final camera-ready PDF using the Springer template with all fonts embedded, and (2) a single .zip source package (LaTeX sources or Word file plus original-resolution figures). .rar and .7z archives were not accepted. To be considered for Lecture Notes in Operations Research, the corresponding author had to upload a signed Springer Nature Licence to Publish (PDF), obtained via EasyChair (submission templates). Authors could replace files in EasyChair until the camera-ready deadline stated in their notification; only the latest version was used.

Proceedings inclusion requirement (ICIL 2025): At least one author of each accepted paper was required to complete conference registration by Monday, 22 September 2025 at 23:59 Japan Standard Time (UTC+09:00). Papers without a registered presenting author after the deadline could be removed from the program.

PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Each presentation is allocated 15 minutes. A computer and projector will be available for slide presentations. The conference language is English.

CONFERENCE FEES (USD)

The fees below applied to ICIL 2025 and are provided for archival reference. Registration for this conference is closed.

For ICIL 2025, registration included access to all sessions, conference materials, meals, the Welcome Reception, and the Gala Dinner. The social excursion is optional and is not included in the registration fee.
Invitation letters are issued after registration. Names must match passports to avoid visa issues. ICIIL cannot assist with visas or appeal denials.
Registration fees for authors are non-refundable. For attendees not presenting a paper, a refund (minus a $50 processing fee) will be granted if the request is made before September 15, 2025.
Additional guests are welcome to attend the Gala Dinner for a supplemental fee of $110 per person. Please indicate guest attendance during registration.
Deadlines: Gala Dinner guest passes and Social Excursion seats by 10 Oct 2025, 17:00 JST. After these dates, requests are waitlisted and confirmed only if capacity allows. You may register for the conference first and add these later by the deadlines noted here; for separate invoicing please contact us.
